Backdoors are direct links to game rooms. They allow you to get in to any game room at all times.
This can be very useful in case you have been disconnected from a game (or tournament),
and upon returning to the game room you're playing in, have found that the room is full.
Or simply if you want to get into your favorite game room, but you can't because the room is full.
Also, our site is a gaming sites directory that allows you to easily access many play sites and game rooms from one central place.
Simply click on the name of the game room you would like to access.
Please note that you should be logged in to the play site, to have the links work properly.
For your convenience, the 'Log In' link is available on top of the rooms list.
The link takes you to the "Login Form" at the play site.
This Backdoors Site (Backdoors. To) has many features that makes it better
than any of the other gaming backdoors sites out there. The following are the main features:
Backdoors.To has a comprehensive up-to-date game room links -
226 games and 164660 game rooms in different play sites.
It has a nice, consistent and easy-to-navigate layout.
It uses easy-to-remember URLs (page addresses), so that you can reach the different backdoor pages easily. Examples:
Backdoors To Yahoo Chess - can be reached at:
http://www.backdoors.to/yahoo/chess
Backdoors To Pogo Backgammon - can be reached at:
http://www.backdoors.to/pogo/backgammon
etc...
It assigns a unique URL (Address) for each specific game room.
You can use this URL to link to the room directly from your Site or League Page
(This feature is not available on any of the other backdoors sites).
It has a very useful feature if you use an Alias at Yahoo instead of your main ID.
With 1 click, you can customize all Yahoo backdoors to include your Alias Number,
so you won't need to re-select this Number every time you want to log in to a game room.

This might occur for several reasons. To avoid getting this error, do the following:
Make sure you're logged in to the play site (Yahoo!, Pogo...) before using the backdoors.
For your convenience, the 'Log in' link is available on top of the rooms list.
While logging in to the play site, make sure to tick the option
"Remember my ID on this computer" ("Save My Password").
If you're using an Alias ID at Yahoo!, make sure to enter the correct Alias Number in your settings.
For more information about this matter, please click here.
If you're having problems loading the game rooms (getting a blank screen, nothing happens when you try to join a table...), we suggest you try one or more of the following:
Make sure you're logged in correctly to the play site, as per the instructions in the previous question.
Make sure you have a good Internet connection, by opening another site such as Google
or Yoopi.
If the other site doesn't open, then probably you don't have a good connection, and accordingly you better disconnect and connect again.
Wait 30 to 60 seconds for the game room to load, during which the page might appear blank. This time varies depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
If it's the first time you're accessing the game on the computer you're using, the load time will take longer, as downloading the game applet will require around 3 minutes.
Close all your browser windows, and then restart your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape...).
Make sure your computer has a Java-enabled browser (e.g. Internet Explorer 4 or higher, Netscape Navigator 4 or higher).
To do so, Click the 'Help' menu on your browser, and then select 'About'.
Upgrade Internet Explorer - Upgrade Netscape Communicator

If you continue to face problems or need more technical help, please visit the play site Help Central:
You get a message that the room is full when there is a very high number of players in the room. This means the following:
If the number of players in the room is 60 or more, no one can access the room from Pogo site, but can do so using the backdoors.
But if the number of players in the room exceeds 120 players, no one can access the room even if they manage to get into it using the backdoors.
The best solution is this case is to close the room window and try again. Usually after 2 to 3 trials, you'll be able to access the room.
The 'Last Visited Games' section that appears on the right menu under 'My Favorites' heading is a very useful tool
that lists links to the last 5 games you visited on the site. These shortcut links will help you to get to your favorite games quickly.

This section is intended to help players who have AOL ScreenNames, and who want to use their ScreenName in Pogo.
This also applies if you have an existing screen name on any of the following services:
AOL, AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), Compuserve 2000 or Netscape AOL Instant Messenger.
If you have any of these, you can use the same exact ScreenName as your Pogo ScreenName - it's already reserved for you.
Also, it is intended to help players who are having trouble with AOL and who want to use another browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape).
Here's how to use a different browser while connected to AOL and Fix Pogo ScreenName:
From here, you will set up your games account so that it will work directly through the Pogo homepage.
Please note that you only need to do this the first time:
- Click the 'Login' link at the very top, right-hand corner of the EA.com homepage.
- Click the 'Create a New EA Member Account' link.
We're not going to create a new account, but we need to get to this page.
- Click on the 'Use my Existing ScreenName' link in the light blue box with the AOL logo in it.
- Enter the ScreenName and AOL password for the account you normally play games with.
- Click 'OK', and you'll be logged into EA.com site with your normal ScreenName.
To get to Pogo the first time:
- Point your browser to www.pogo.com
and you'll automatically be logged in with your normal ScreenName.
To get to Pogo from now on:
- Connect to AOL as normal.
- Minimize the AOL window.
- Open your other browser, and go to www.pogo.com
